Failure To Yield Results In Serious Injuries
The Ohio State Highway Patrol in Lexington Township, Stark County, responded to the scene of a serious accident on McCallum NE and Beeson NE, on Sunday, July 24, at 1:46 p.m.
Unit 1, a 2014 Ford Taurus was traveling north on McCallum Ave. NE, south of Beeson St. NE, attempting to turn left into their driveway. Unit 2, a 1999 Kawasaki, Vulcan 800, was traveling south. Unit 1 failed to yield and struck Unit 2, which traveled off the roadway and struck a wooden retaining wall.
As a result of this accident, the at-fault Unit 1 had no injuries listed. Unit 2, had serious injuries listed for the driver and passenger. The driver and passenger were both taken to Mercy Medical Center by EMT.
