At Fault Auto Traveled Left Of Center Resulting In Serious Injuries To Innocent Party
On the late evening of Wednesday, July 31 at approximately 11:36 p.m. the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a serious injury accident in Milton Township, Wayne County, Ohio at SR 0604 at milepost 0019.
Unit 2, a Harley Davidson Road Glide Custom, was traveling east on SR 604. Unit 1, a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am, was traveling west on SR 604, went left of center, and struck Unit 2 head-on. Unit 2 then ran off the right side of the roadway striking a mailbox.
As a result of the accident, the driver of Unit 1 was listed as possibly being hurt and was seen by the Rittman Fire and EMS, and was taken to the Wooster Community Hospital to be checked. Unit 2 was seen by the Rittman Fire and EMS and was taken to the Akron City Hospital in serious condition.
