Ford Van Hit By Truck Causes Freak Accident
The Ohio State Highway Patrol reported a semi-truck driver traveling southbound on Interstate 71 near exit thirty-one in Lebanon hit the rear end of a 2003 Ford van that was traveling at a slow rate of speed just before 2 a.m. on or about May 28th.
The Ohio State Patrol reported the person was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced deceased at the scene. The ejected person from the van was then hit by another car according to OSP. The van driver and the two accompanying passengers were transported to Bethesda North Hospital.
OSP stated that the person ejected was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash specifics and how it occurred are not clear at this present time. The Ohio State Patrol has not stated the age of the deceased.
